7. Right of Withdrawal — Digital Content (Important)
Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Portuguese law (Decreto-Lei n.º 24/2014, as amended), consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal (cooling-off period) from distance contracts.
However, this right is lost once the download or streaming of digital content begins, provided the consumer has given prior express consent and acknowledged that the right of withdrawal is thereby waived.
By ticking the acknowledgement box at checkout and clicking “Confirm Purchase”, you:
- expressly request the immediate supply of the digital content;
- acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once download/access begins.
Note to owner: your checkout flow must include this explicit tick-box and acknowledgement before payment is completed.
8. Licence — How You May Use the Footage
When you purchase a video clip, we grant you a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual licence to use the footage, subject to the terms below.
Personal use (included in every purchase)
You may use the footage for personal, non-commercial projects — for example, a personal travel video, a social media post without sponsorship, a school or university assignment.
Commercial use (included in every purchase)
You may also use the footage in commercial projects — including advertising, corporate video, client work, YouTube monetisation, broadcast, or any paid production — without additional fees.
What you may NOT do:
- Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or give away the raw video files to any third party.
- Include the footage in a stock footage library or any product where the footage itself is the item being sold.
- Claim authorship or ownership of the original footage.
- Use the footage in any unlawful or defamatory context.
One licence per purchase. Each buyer receives their own licence; licences are not transferable.
9. Conformity and Complaints
Digital content must conform to the contract at the time of supply. If the file you received is corrupted, incomplete, or does not match the preview description, please contact us within 30 days of purchase at contacto@rodrigoskycam.pt and we will re-supply the correct file at no charge.
